About me

Howdy, I'm Brandon Petroski; warrior of the wasteland and greatest smuggler this side of the Milky Way. Well, I wish, I'm a Drexel Game Design graduate currently going for my Master's in Software Engineering. I have indie game studio and start-up experience. I have done web development, graphic design, video editing, writing, and a slew of other design oriented jobs. I try to maintain a steady flow of creative output to push my standard of work a little higher each day.

I'm open to work! Reach out via my email or LinkedIn, and lets see how I can help elevate your project!

Let me just tell you a bit about myself personally. I'm from Scranton, so get the Office references out of the way now. I have a love for gaming, cinema, and writing. Retro games and classic film have heavily influenced my design tastes.

I also have an obsession with classic cars. If I wasn't working on video games or writing, you bet I'd be in a garage working on classic cars. As I write this I have a 1988 Cadillac and a 1976 Chevrolet Cheyenne. I previously owned a 1977 Ford Thunderbird. As soon as the college debt is managed, I'm getting myself another classic. I run an Instagram page for fun called v8_or_die that's over 19k followers, which centers around weird and under appreciated Malaise era classic cars. It's a fun way to share my automotive passion with other like minded folks.

I collect retro games and computers when I have a few extra dollars in my pocket too. I don't just love to play them. I suppose I just have an appreciation for history, and where we've came from. I've dabbled in modifying consoles, and coding my own home brew games for original hardware as well.

I have also written and copyrighted my first screenplay June of 2019, just shy of my 23rd birthday. We'll see where that takes me. Making games my be my career of choice, but filmmaking will always be a close second.

I'm still looking for full-time work, and I keep myself busy with new creative projects that push my skills ahead.

I have a hit game I helped design for out on Steam and all major consoles called Murderhouse, and I just solo launched a Steam game called Consume Thy Flesh: The Pumpkin Smashing Sim. Oh, and did I mention I have a game on IOS and Android too?

I'm just hoping for a break soon. I've worked so hard, and my mom has supported me through all of my hopes and dreams. I can't even begin to thank my friends from home and college as well. They kept me sane when at times, I felt like my world was falling apart. I just want to repay all of the good people have done for me, while finally being allowed the creative expression I've been searching for.
